These launch rules explain the product behavior in plain language. They should be reviewed by counsel before broad commercial launch.

What a placement payment buys

A payment buys paid promotional placement on PetPodium. Rank is ordered by each active listing's cumulative confirmed placement total. A higher total can move another listing above yours at any time. No duration at a particular rank is guaranteed.

No prize, investment or animal sale

There is no cash prize, random draw, payout or return promised for a placement payment. PetPodium is not an animal marketplace. Listings may not offer animals for sale, trade, breeding transactions or other prohibited commerce.

Owner responsibility

Submitters represent that they own, lawfully keep, or are authorized to represent the pet or animal and submitted media, and that their submission complies with applicable law. Owner-claimed labels such as “Most Exotic” are personal claims and are not verified rankings of rarity, value or quality.

Locked original content

After the first successful placement payment, the original pet profile and uploaded media are locked. The single external link remains editable. A user can delete their complete listing; deletion removes it from the public leaderboard but does not create a refund of earlier placement payments.

Moderation

We may remove or restrict listings involving unlawful content, animal abuse, prohibited wildlife trade, unauthorized media, fraud, attempts to sell animals, or other violations. Users can report a listing from its public profile.

Payments and changes in rank

Checkout may display a projected rank based on the board at that moment. Other confirmed payments can change that position before or after checkout completes. Ranking changes alone are not a payment error or basis for a refund.
